A few words about me
I've been drawing and painting since childhood. My true passion began in high school, then subsided for a dozen years, only to return with full force. For several years now, I've been intensively developing my skills. I spend every free moment at plein air painting sessions, which provide a wealth of inspiration and teach me how to draw inspiration directly from nature. In 2021, I graduated with distinction from a one-year postgraduate program in Painting and Drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. My current studies at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw are a great challenge, but also a tremendous satisfaction in honing my craft and learning new techniques in both painting and printmaking.
I'm fascinated by contemporary art in all its diversity and intricacy of movements, styles, and forms, but I also love naive artists who paint from the heart, with whom I identify. They tell their stories in their own unique, often fabulous and colorful ways. Ultimately, nature itself is my inspiration, enchanting in its diversity and extraordinary forms. The coexistence between humans and animals and the bond that forms between them is a frequent theme in her work.
My work is a constant dialogue between the classical form of the human body and the vibration of color encountered on long journeys. In my oil paintings, I seek the truth about humanity, while in graphic design, I seek the energy and rhythm of tradition. The 'Art & Wear' collection arose from my fascination with Maasai art and Polish folklore. It is my attempt to transfer my painterly sensibility to the objects that surround us in everyday life.
